My mother and I have been overpowered by the Kardashian Apocalypse.
Well, maybe a little.
As we all know, minutes after Kylie Jenner launched her first batch of lipsticks her entire stock was sold out.
My momma, tenacious as usual, returned to Kylie Cosmetics later on in an attempt to at least get one. But when it ended with the same result as last time, it only made momma want it even more. So she waited and went back again.
For like, 16 times (no joke).
As you can see she finally got it.
And is quickly developing an addiction to Kylie Cosmetics products.
She has a lot more than the six you see in my post.
I’ve heard a lot of flack about these products.
Takes forever to ship.
Quality is questionable.
But I sincerely don’t get why there’s so much hate. I actually think that they’re pretty dope. I like the colors, the packaging was cool, and, most importantly, the lipsticks stay on throughout the day.
And you can’t say it’s because of luck since my mother has purchased from the site, like, three times. And so far it’s been consistent.
As most of you know, I don’t do makeup.
Not because I have anything against it, it’s just that I don’t know how to use it. Plus I’d probably forget that it’s even on my face and accidentally wipe it off with my hand or something.
And I only use 2 out of the 4 on a daily basis.
So as you can see I’m not into dark, vibrant lip colors. Probably why Dolce K is my favorite.
Anyway, I’ll make sure to show the rest of my mother’s ever growing collection of Kylie Lipkits in the future.
She said not to expect anything other than matte lipsticks. She hates gloss and doesn’t wear eyeshadow.
But like I said, she’s getting addicted.
So never say never.
