Ring from Shasa.

Project Sister Act, created by Sheela Writes, is a collaboration amongst bloggers to prove that style is ageless.

This month our theme is Avant Garde.

When October was on the rise I thought it would be really cool for our theme to be something extravagant and out of the box in the spirit of Halloween without being too literal. So I begged Momma Bear a.k.a. Sheela Writes to make her theme just that. And she came up with Avant Garde!

Shades from an indie store.
Tank and pants are gymwear.

I have to admit that this was not the original outfit I was planning to display this month.

My initial outfit was all white and the top had a pocket with graphic words on it. But as much as I love it, I saw it more as a cool outfit and not so much as Avant Garde.

So I decided to try something else and went for an all black ensemble. And I decided to put on some lipstick to add an extra umph!

Choker from Free People via Poshmark.
Booties from ASOS.
Vest (which is actually a maxi dress) from Forever 21.
Lipstick is Kylie Cosmetics (Leo).

Project Sister Act: October Edition

Momma says I’m a wika.
I want to be you when I grow up, Chasmine.
Joi looks so pretty! And I love how she paired a flirty dress with 👟 and used color!
Momma looks incredible!
In love with Jacqueline’s mix of polka dots and confetti-like tops. And, of course, her hat!

A huge thank you and congratulations to all the bloggers who participated this month!

Make sure to be on the lookout for November’s edition.

  1. You gorgeous, dramatic, stunning lil minx!!! What a look. Sweeping train. Goth yet not crazy goth. With bursts of red on those sunnies and them booties (you’re welcomed), and those lips. Some serious pouters right there. I am SO proud of you xoxoxo
